Day 8

What a great Christmas! This was a good Christmas for our family because we were sooo lucky to have almost all of my Mom's side of the family together and we had our Uncle Timmy back in the picture after almost 3 years, and everyone was healthy. So it was a wonderful ending to 2010, and as we turn the corner and start a new year we should pray for God's guidance and our self-discipline and willpower.

Day 6

I know it's been a really really long time since I have posted something but between everything that has been going on lately there has not been very much spare time. Is there something wrong with this picture? Couldn't I have taken a few minutes to say what I was thankful for even, if it was just one thing? I probably could have but I just squeezed it out just because I thought I would be to busy so I removed it from my daily plans. But anyways, I know I have not done what I said I was going to do in my first post but I am going to try it again and pray about it because lately I haven't been spending time with God. For example: Forgetting to pray daily, not reading my bible, etc. So while I am on Christmas break I am going to try to get back into the normal swing of things and not let extra curricular activities take over my life, especially spiritual life.
35:Being able to have a Christmas with the whole family, not just part of it

Today I had the second to last Nutcracker play and a few minutes before I went on the stage I was thinking of things that I could put on here. The amazing thing I found out that there are so many things to be thankful for that I hadn't realized until that moment, and that's why I am doing this!

Day 2

Proverb for the week:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5
I look to the verse a lot when I am having friend, school, home, or self problems. Even though it is hard sometimes especially when you find yourself not fully trusting in him and forgetting that he is there to help guide you though this sinful world. So this week when I am studying for my exams coming up I will put in more effort to look to him for help because I can't handle it but the Lord can.

My goal with this blog is to try to discover more blessings in life that I don't even notice. Even though my life may be a whole lot different with out them. I am going to try to post alist of things I am grateful for at least 30 straight days in a row and see if this works.
*This list will not be in a particular order, just what things come to mind first.
